• The Allahabad High Court will deliver its verdict in the 60-year-old Ramjanambhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit on Thursday after the Supreme Court on Tuesday cleared the path by dismissing a petition seeking its deferment.
• Buckling under pressure from the opposition All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), Tamil Nadu government today decided to hand over to Central Bureau of Investigation five cases regarding repeated death threats issued to its party chief Jayalalithaa.
